Do I need ink or cartridges?+
No. It uses ZINK thermal paper — the colour is embedded in the paper itself. Load a pack and print; there's nothing else to buy or replace.
How do the AR photos work?+
Record or upload a video when you print a photo. Later, scan the print with the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app and the photo plays your video back — audio photos work the same way.
Does it need Wi-Fi?+
No. It connects straight to your phone over Bluetooth, supports several connections at once and queues print jobs automatically — ideal at parties.
How do I load the paper?+
Three steps: open the paper tray cover, place the photo paper in with the orange calibration card at the bottom and its barcode facing down, then close the cover. We recommend loading a full pack each time.
